The Scharnhauser Park in Ostfildern is a former military area. The most important measure in the Scharnhauser Park is the optimization of a new biomass plant (combined heat and power). One target is to use the residual heat in summer to cool the office buildings. Furthermore all buildings will get optimal heat insulation to minimize heat loss in the winter. It is planned to realize all measures between 2005 and 2010. |
